A rare opportunity to witness three of the UK’s more intriguing bands… And DJ Heidi Heelz!

The Cravats www.thecravats.com
After 35 years, Peel faves, The Cravats return with a brand new LP, ‘Dustbin of Sound’ on Overground Records.
Formed in 1977 and featuring as always. co-founder The Shend and sax-riddling behemoth, Svor Naan, the band have recorded 13 brand new tracks of dada-fuelled, bass-laden oddness and will be performing a pile of it at this special launch do, along with a spattering of hits from the past.
With Rampton Garstang on drums, Viscount Biscuits on guitar and Joe 91 on bass plus Mr H watching the telly, you can unexpect the expected.

Dunstan Bruce and Harry Hamer from anarcho-pop-cabaret troupe Chumbawamba and Griffin – former enfant terrible in the London louts, Regular Fries. How do they express their anger now? They reject the idea of nostalgia, they refuse to live in the past, no looking back; this is all forward, forward motion.
Angry motorik loop-driven post-punk rock three. An agitpunkfunkstorm. An angular assault course of taut techpop.

The Astronauts
Formed in 1977 on the backend of the punk explosion and with a history of lineup changes bested only by The Fall, chief songwriter Mark Astronaut is still battling on with his genre-bending sound and his blusteringly brilliant anarchist lyrical perspective. One of the UK’s best kept musical secrets – catch them live soon before they vanish back into the suburbs.

The awesome Disc Jockey, HEIDI HEELZ spinning some lovely vinyl to complement the evening’s live entertainment.
