Echopark: London-based musician, la named, Echopark makes ambient electronic cuts. Born in Italy, the rising star grew up playing the guitar in friends garages and basements, skating badly, attempting to build audio instruments and chucking things from heights. Apparently this made for top inspiration when it came to his own distorted, crisp indie blend. His music is a mix of layered harmonies built on walls of guitars and synthesizers, never too polished, never to raucous. Check it out, then check out to experience it live.

MTVIggy Artist of The Week
“Echopark knows the sound of isolation. He’s made it his playground.[…] A sensitive take on pop that never strays towards wimp, Trees lives up to its name sake: strong, majestic, and a crucial complement to any sun-dappled day.”

Shiny Shiny New
“The album is a warm romp through sunny soundscapes and perfectly distorted vocal lines. Summer has its first really great album.”

The Line of Best Fit
“‘Teleporation’ teases with a tantalising caress of heat, invoking a vision of life after this seemingly endless winter has thawed.”

Gold Flake Paint
“A thrilling romp through dazzling synths, pulsing beats, joyous acoustic melodies and the perfect balance of light and shade. It’s a record that already has us completely hooked.“
