Lexington Avenue is where Lou Reed “waited for the man”. It’s the name

When we secured the site back in 2008, (formerly “Clockwork”) we needed a name. We were looking at American street names, partly inspired by the already taken, Beach Blanket Babylon of San Francisco. But we wanted a music connection. So the Lafayette and the Sazerac were rejected and The Lexington became the name of our new home.

Tasting Notes

The nose gives grassy notes with an underlying sweet citrus finish. The mouthfeel is an explosion that recalls the first time having popping candy. This leads straight into a distinct burnt orange and malted caramel flavour before a lingering buttery popcorn finish.
