This launch concert – First Flight – marks the first live performance of tracks from Angel River’s Debut Album Angel’s and Lovers which will be released on March 6th 2017

Through their album Angels and Lovers, Angel River strive to connect with listeners; creating music that lifts and takes you on a journey. Their sound – a richly textured sonic landscape – has been carefully crafted to allow vocalist, Brit School Graduate and Mobo Award winner Daniel Arieleno’s pure, soul soaring vocals to take flight.

Angel River began as a collaboration between husband and wife song-writing duo Simon Brenner (founder member and original keyboard player of eighties band Talk Talk) and Cayte Cox, who began working with Daniel Arieleno in 2015. Together they have produced music that has been described as ‘neo soul’ with influences drawn from pop, soul, r&b, blues, gospel, jazz, and world music.

‘There’s something very special about being at the beginning of something, and we think we are at the beginning of something very special.’
