FAERS met at Club Yuck in Uxbridge in early 2015, a popular weekly indie night run by singer Stephen Howard showcasing bands on his label of the same name and with guest DJ slots from established bands.
Quickly a bond formed and they released their debut EP ‘WAVES’ later that year leading to sold out shows in London and Brighton. They have also played support slots with JAWS, Native People and The Cribs.
Single launches for ’Stray World’ and ‘Lust and Youth’ have seen the band sell out both The Water Rats and The Lexington and other notable gigs include Nambucca (This Feeling), Barfly (Sold Out),The Borderline (Sold out), Y not Festival, Penn Festival and Camden Rocks Festival.
FAERS have recently had backing and national play from John Kennedy on Radio X and Gary Crowley on BBC Introducing.
“Faers are creating something that is incredibly on trend at the moment. Perfect for daytime play on the likes of Radio 1 or Radio X, Lust and Youth is a scintillating track that offers a more intense, enigmatic side to a band who are ready for the attention they will, deservedly, start to receive.” – It’s All Indie
“When dreaming on a dull day, Faers are able to take you even further away from reality.” – Artefact Magazine
